Hey there!

I’m Juliet, a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP) newly transplanted to Asheville, NC. I believe that food can be one of the most powerful tools we have to optimize our health. Whether you’re looking for digestive relief, improved skin, better sleep, hormonal balance, or mental sharpness, I take a foundational, food-first approach to help you feel the best version of yourself.

I know first-hand how stressful and frustrating it can be to navigate chronic or a seemingly unrelated set of symptoms. I struggled with digestive and skin issues, anxiety and insomnia, and serious food sensitivities. We often write off the bouts of hives, acne, fatigue, gas, bloating, constipation, or diarrhea as ‘one of those things’, but it doesn’t have to be a fact of life. It might be common for you, but it certainly isn’t normal. Let’s get to the root of what’s causing these symptoms, reverse the ill effects it’s having across your health landscape, and help you lead a fuller life. Through a serious gut-healing protocol I found a path towards better health using real food, and I want to help you do the same!

…takes a foundational, holistic approach to wellness that focuses on the importance of a properly prepared, nutrient-dense, whole food diet paired with a well-balanced lifestyle. As an FNTP, I understand the importance of honoring the body’s own feedback system and its incredible capacity to restore, regenerate, and correct itself — when given the tools and nutrients to do so.

I am also trained in reading, analyzing and developing protocols based off of functional lab testing. While proper diet and lifestyle are the bedrock of maintaining health, advanced testing and targeted protocols are often the best solution for more complex cases.

Weight Neutral Approach

Although using food as medicine is a powerful lever for health, I also recognize that food is super-charged with emotions, opinions, and deep-rooted preconceptions for many people. In addition to using food as a tool for improving my own health, I’ve also struggled with forms of disordered eating and exercise. I understand the complexity of using food as a tool for healing, while also navigating a strained relationship to it at times. I whole-heartedly believe in weight-neutral wellness - your size is not an indication of your health status. Wherever you are in your journey towards optimal health, I’m excited to work with you!
